Esiste una beta di Google Chrome per ubuntu, se avete fretta di vedere funzionare Google Chrome su ubuntu potete installarlo così

Per recuperare i dati cancellati per caso da pendrive o hard disk bisogna usare un programma
PhotoRec

si installa da linea di comando con
sudo apt-get install testdisk
per avviarlo basta digitare da terminale
sudo testdisk
Il suo utilizzo è veramente semplice i file

Visto i pochi temi che ci troviamo installati dopo l’installazione da zero della versione 10.04, possiamo implementare i nostri temi direttamente dai repositori i temi Bisigi digitando da terminale..

Esistono molti repository non ufficiali, quelli più conosciuti sono Universe e Multiverse.
Mulverse sono dei pacchetti possono avere problemi di licenza in alcuni paesi e potrebbero essere illegali in un sistema libero.
Esistono tantissime distribuzione di pacchetti anche sotto forma di file autoinstallanti, comunque bisogna fare molta attenzione in quanto alcune volte non sono supportate gli aggiornamenti e potrebbero mandare in crask il sistema.

Per abilitare i repository Universe e Multiverse, modificare il file /etc/apt/sources.list e rimuovere il commento dalle righe appropriate:
